GRIEF RECOVERY
Grief is a natural and emotional response to loss, often misunderstood and inadequately addressed in society. The Grief Recovery Method (GRM), developed by John W. Jamesand Russell Friedman, is a structured, action-oriented program designed to help individuals move beyond the pain of loss—whether from death, divorce, trauma, or other life transitions.
The approach is evidence-based. Some topics covered are:
Understanding conflicting emotions.
Recognizing disrupted routines, identity, and roles in life.
Completing unfinished emotional communication.
Expressing emotions in a safe and structured format.
